Entitled:
Education - Tax Credit for Employer-Established Paid Work-Based Learning Programs

Synopsis:

Extending for 3 years the availability of a tax credit for wages paid to students under an approved work-based learning program; extending to November 1, 2006, the deadline for a specified report by the Department of Education concerning the effectiveness of the tax credit; extending to January 1, 2007, the date from which any excess tax credits may be carried forward; and extending to June 30, 2007, the termination date for the law relating to approved paid work-based learning programs.
