Hospitals and Health Care Facilities - Maternity Patients - Shaken Baby Syndrome

Synopsis:

Requiring hospitals and health care facilities that provide maternity and obstetrical services to provide maternity patients with written information about shaken baby syndrome prior to the discharge of the patient's newborn or infant child; specifying that failure to meet the requirements of the Act may not be construed to create a private right of action; etc.
