Higher Education - Morgan State University - Coordination and Governance

Synopsis:

Designating Morgan State University as a body corporate and politic, an instrumentality of the State, a public corporation, and an independent unit of State government; authorizing the University to exercise all the corporate powers granted Maryland corporations, adopt an official seal, sue and be sued, complain, and defend in all courts, maintain an office, enter into contracts of any kind, acquire, hold, lease, use, encumber, transfer, exchange, or dispose of real and personal property; etc.
