Task Force to Study the Maryland Teachers' Pension System and the Teachers' Retirement System

Synopsis:

Establishing a Task Force to Study the Maryland Teachers' Pension System and the Teachers' Retirement System; requiring the Task Force to review and evaluate the viability and adequacy of the two systems to provide specified benefits; providing for the membership and staffing of the Task Force; prohibiting a member from receiving specified compensation and authorizing a member to receive specified reimbursements; requiring the Task Force to make recommendations regarding the systems and issue a report by a specified date; etc.
