Synopsis:

Establishing the Commission to Study Southern Maryland Transportation Needs; providing for the membership and staffing of the Commission; requiring the Commission to coordinate with the Tri-County Council's Regional Infrastructure Advisory Committee; requiring the Commission to study and make recommendations with regard to traffic congestion and mass transit options, including light rail, in Southern Maryland; and providing for the termination of the Act.
