Office of the Comptroller - Abandoned Property - Publication of Notice

Synopsis:

Changing the number of days from within 180 days to within 365 days, following a report to the Comptroller by someone holding funds or other tangible or intangible property presumed abandoned under this subtitle, in which the Comptroller must publish a notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the county within which the last known address of any owner of the property is located.
