Creation of a State Debt - Garrett County - Salem School

Synopsis:

Authorizing the creation of a State Debt not to exceed $250,000, the proceeds to be used as a grant to the Board of Directors of the Maryland Salem Children's Trust, Inc. for the planning, design, construction, and capital equipping of a new school building with classrooms, a kitchen and dining room, a media center, a mobile computer lab, a therapy room, an art and music room, and rest rooms, located in Frostburg; prohibiting the loan proceeds or the matching funds from being used for sectarian religious purposes; etc.
