Synopsis:

Requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to appoint epidemiologists and parents of children with birth defects to a committee that makes specified reports to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene concerning children born with birth defects; requiring hospitals to submit reports to the Department within a specified number of days from the date of the release of the child's mother from the hospital; etc.
