Synopsis:

Establishing medical parole as a form of release from incarceration for inmates who, as a result of a medical or mental health condition, disease, or syndrome, pose no danger to public safety; establishing procedures for requesting medical parole; requiring the Maryland Parole Commission to consider specified information before granting medical parole; providing for the return to custody of a medical parolee under specified circumstances; providing for victim notification and participation in medical parole proceedings; etc.
