Credit Regulation - Debt Management Services
Authorizing a person that is not a nonprofit organization to provide
debt management services in the State; requiring a person that is
licensed to provide debt management services to provide a specified
notice to a consumer and to make a determination, before providing
debt management services for a consumer, that the debt management
services are suitable for the consumer and that the consumer will be
able to meet the obligations of the debt management services
agreement; etc.
