Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Youth Advisory Council; providing for the appointment, selection, membership, terms, and duties of the Council; establishing an executive board; providing for the development of an application process; requiring the Council to work with the State Department of Education regarding the granting of school credit for Council service; requiring the Council to hold public meetings, conduct public hearings, propose legislation, and conduct a public awareness campaign; etc.
