Vehicle Laws - Speed Monitoring Systems - Statewide Authorization and Use in Highway Work Zones

Synopsis:

Authorizing in all counties and municipalities in the State and in specified highway work zones the use of speed monitoring systems to enforce specified highway speed laws after reasonable public notice and a public hearing; requiring a county, before using a speed monitoring system within a municipal corporation, to obtain specified approval, provide notice, and provide the municipal corporation instead of the county with the opportunity to use a speed monitoring system; etc.
