Family Law - Civil Unions - Establishment, Rights, and Responsibilities
 
Altering the crime of bigamy to include prohibiting a person in a
lawful marriage or civil union from entering into a civil union or
marriage with another; authorizing specified parties to enter into
civil unions; establishing procedures for licensing and performing
civil union ceremonies; establishing that State and local laws that
apply to spouses apply to parties who enter into civil unions in
accordance with the Act; etc.
