Office of the State Prosecutor - Subpoena Authority

Synopsis:

Authorizing the State Prosecutor for a limited purpose to issue a subpoena to a person to produce specified records or documents; specifying the rights of a person served with a subpoena and the requirements the State Prosecutor shall meet when a subpoena is served; authorizing the State Prosecutor to report to the circuit court of the county having jurisdiction the failure of a person to obey a subpoena; and authorizing a court to grant relief.
