Civil Jury Trials - Amount in Controversy
Increasing from more than $10,000 to more than $20,000 the amount in
controversy in civil proceedings in which the right to a trial by jury
may be limited by legislation; increasing from more than $10,000 to
more than $20,000 the amount in controversy in civil cases in which
the right to a jury trial shall be inviolably preserved; and
submitting the constitutional amendment to the qualified voters of the
State for their adoption or rejection.
