Political Subdivisions - Government Imposed Restrictions on Income Producing Real Property - Fiscal Impact Study

Synopsis:

Requiring a local government to request a specified study from the Governor before enacting an ordinance or adopting a regulation that imposes rent restrictions on specified residential property; requiring the Governor, based on a competitive bid process, to contract for a specified State entity to perform the study; providing that the Act does not apply to the City of College Park or the City of Takoma Park; etc.
