Maryland Locksmiths Act
Requiring a specified business to be licensed by the Secretary of
Labor, Licensing, and Regulation before the business may provide
locksmith services; providing for the purpose of the Act; providing
that the Act does not limit the rights of specified individuals to
engage in locksmith services; authorizing the Secretary to adopt
regulations for the licensure and regulation of locksmiths; requiring
a national and State criminal history records check for specified
individuals; etc.
