Criminal Law - Crimes of Violence Against the Elderly or Persons with a
Disability - Penalties
Prohibiting a person from committing a crime of violence against a
person who is at least 68 years old or a person with a disability;
establishing a penalty; providing that a conviction under the Act does
not merge with a conviction for an underlying offense; and providing
that a sentence imposed for a violation of the Act is to be
consecutive to and not concurrent with any other sentence imposed for
other crimes.
