Entitled:

State Government - Legislative Furlough Enabling Act

Synopsis:

Authorizing the General Assembly, for any fiscal year, to supersede resolutions passed by the General Assembly and reduce the compensation for a member; prohibiting a joint resolution passed by the General Assembly from increasing General Assembly compensation; authorizing the General Assembly to alter the salaries of members at specified times; and submitting the amendment to the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
