Synopsis:

Prohibiting the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from filing a claim against the estate of a deceased Medical Assistance Program recipient after specified time periods have ended; requiring attorneys to notify the Department of specified events; allowing the Department to make a claim against a surviving spouse under specified circumstances; requiring financial institutions to turn over specified funds to the Department; etc.
