Income Tax Subtraction Modification - Businesses - Teaching the English Language to Employees' Families

Synopsis:

Allowing a subtraction modification under the Maryland individual and corporation income taxes for businesses that incur training expenses for teaching the English language to specified members of an employee's family; limiting the subtraction modification based on the number of individuals who successfully complete English language training and pass an English proficiency examination approved by the Division of Employment and Training; providing for the calculation of the subtraction modification; etc.
