Entitled:
Welfare and Child Support Enforcement Innovation Act of 2002

Synopsis:

Requiring the local departments of social services to execute hiring agreements with entities doing business with Maryland counties and Baltimore City for the purpose of hiring Family Investment Program (FIP) recipients; repealing a specified limitation on temporary cash assistance payments; requiring the Secretary of Human Resources to establish a mentoring program for current FIP recipients; altering specified requirements for the Commission on Responsible Fatherhood; etc.
