Prohibiting, on or after October 1, 2021 the use of Class B fire- fighting foam that contains intentionally added PFAS chemicals for certain testing or training purposes; requiring the use of nonfluorinated foam for fire-fighting training; establishing certain penalties; requiring the Department of the Environment to conduct a study to assess each application of PFAS chemicals in food packaging, determine whether a safer alternative is available, and report its findings to the Governor and General Assembly by January 1, 2023; etc.
