Synopsis:Increasing from $17,000 to $18,000 the annual compensation received by the chair of the Howard County Board of Education; increasing from $15,000 to $16,000 the annual compensation of other elected officials of the county board; and providing that the Act does not apply to the salary of the chair and other elected members of the county board while serving in a term of office beginning before the effective date of the Act.
