Synopsis:

Establishing that a court may consider voluntary impoverishment as a result of incarceration for a criminal conviction as grounds for the modification of a child support award; establishing that a court may consider voluntary impoverishment as a material change in circumstances in a child support matter; providing that a parent who is voluntarily impoverished may be required to use other assets in the parent's possession or control to satisfy a child support obligation; etc.
