Synopsis:

Prohibiting a parent who has committed certain crimes or acts from receiving damages awarded in an action for wrongful death of a child of the parent under certain circumstances; prohibiting a parent who has committed certain crimes or acts from receiving a distribution from the intestate estate of the child under certain circumstances; providing for the application of the Act; and making the Act an emergency measure.
