Estates and Trusts - Small Estates - Maximum Property Value
Increasing to $30,000 the maximum value of an estate necessary to
qualify for administration under the provisions of law for
administration as a small estate; establishing an additional small
estate maximum property value of $50,000 for estate transfers between
spouses; altering the rate structure of small estate fees imposed by
the register of wills; and providing that the Act applies to decedents
who die on or after the effective date of the Act.
