Criminal Procedure - Sentencing - Costs of Confinement

Synopsis:

Requiring a judge who sentences a defendant to a term of confinement in a State correctional facility to also declare in open court the total cost, including overhead, of confining the defendant for the full term; and providing that the failure of a judge to comply with the Act does not affect the legality of the sentence.
