Election Law - Voter Registration - Felons

Synopsis:

Altering the qualifications for voter registration to allow specified felons who have been convicted of specified crimes more than once but who have completed the sentence imposed, including any probation, and who otherwise are qualified to be registered voters, to register to vote, provided a 5-year period beyond the completion of the sentence imposed has elapsed; and making an exception to prohibit felons who are convicted of specified crimes from being deemed qualified to be registered voters.
