Synopsis:

Establishing a Veterans' Job Training and Placement Program to award grants for vocational training or job placement programs for veterans; providing employers an income tax subtraction for hiring specified qualified veterans during the taxable year; providing a property tax credit and a partial recordation tax exemption for veterans who are first-time Maryland home buyers; requiring counties to provide partial county transfer tax exemptions for veterans who are first-time Maryland home buyers; etc.
