Synopsis:

Establishing the Maryland Educational Opportunity Summer Pilot Program; authorizing a county board of education to develop a proposal for educational curriculum and activities during the summer; requiring the State Board of Education to review a proposal and approve or disapprove the proposal based on specified priorities; requiring the State Board to distribute funds to cover the costs of implementing and operating the Pilot Program; applying the Act to Baltimore County and Prince George's County; etc.
