Synopsis:

Authorizing authorized insurers to charge and collect, instead of or in addition to a reasonable installment fee, a reasonable late fee for late payment of insurance premiums if approved by the Insurance Commissioner; requiring the Commissioner to review administrative expenses; establishing that the late fee or installment fee may not exceed $10; prohibiting the imposition of a late fee during a grace period or, if no grace period is required, until two business days after the date the payment becomes due; etc.
