Chesapeake Bay Protection - Tax Credit for Improved On-Site Sewerage
Disposal Systems
Allowing an individual or a corporation repairing, replacing, or
modifying an existing on-site sewerage disposal system to claim a
credit against the State income tax for 70% of the costs of purchasing
and installing approved nitrogen removal technology; limiting the
credit to $4,900 of any on-site sewerage disposal system; allowing
unused credit amounts to be carried forward to specified taxable
years; applying the Act to tax years after 2001; etc.
