Motor Carrier Tax - Returns, Identification Markers, and Trip Permits

Synopsis:

Authorizing the Comptroller to exempt a motor carrier from filing a motor carrier tax return, or from obtaining identification markers for its commercial motor vehicles to operate in the State, if the carrier's intrastate commercial vehicles are registered by the Motor Vehicle Administration to operate within the State; repealing the exemption for vehicles used to transport migrant agricultural workers; repealing the limit on the number of times a trip permit may be used; etc.
