Criminal Procedure - Juveniles and Minors Identification Act

Synopsis:

Allowing law enforcement agencies, intake officers, and State's Attorneys to request a court to order minors and juveniles in cases involving crimes and delinquent acts to appear for identification by another; requiring the court to notify the minor or juvenile and the parent, guardian, or custodian of the time and place and of the right to an attorney, and to appoint an attorney if one cannot be afforded; and providing that a violation may not exclude evidence or identifications otherwise legally obtained.
