1997 Workforce Reduction Act

Synopsis:

Allowing specified State employee members of the Employees' Retirement System or the Employees'Pension System to retire early with a service retirement allowance from July 1, 1997 through September 1, 1997; providing for the benefits on early retirement under the Act; altering the conditions under which a member who retires under the Act may become reemployed by participating employers; excluding specified employees from qualifying for the retirement and other benefits under the Act; etc.
