Selection
Providing for an alternate pension selection for members of the
Employees' Pension System and the Teachers' Pension System; making the
selection optional for current members and mandatory for new members;
providing for the member contribution rate, the benefits, and the
cost-of-living adjustment for members subject to the alternate pension
selection; requiring that members who elect to be subject to the
alternate pension selection have at least 5 years of eligibility
service to receive increased benefits; etc.
