Health Maintenance Organizations - Reimbursement for Medical Screening Services

Synopsis:

Providing for the continuation of a specified requirement that health maintenance organizations reimburse a hospital emergency facility and provider for specified medical screening services rendered; repealing a provision that would have abrogated, on March 31, 1997, a requirement that a health maintenance organization reimburse a hospital emergency facility and provider for medical screening services rendered under specified circumstances; etc.
