Workers' Compensation - Construction Carve Out

Synopsis:

Providing that, as part of a collective bargaining agreement with respect to workers' compensation, an employer and a specified exclusive bargaining representative of employees may agree to an alternative dispute resolution system, the use of an agreed list of health care providers, a light duty, modified job, or return to work program, and a vocational rehabilitation or retraining program; allowing employees to seek treatment from other health care providers; requiring an appeal mechanism for use of other providers; etc.
