Synopsis:

Creating the Office of Cemetery Oversight; requiring registration to operate a cemetery or to provide burial goods; providing exceptions; requiring a permit to operate a cemetery or burial goods business as a corporation, limited liability company, or partnership; requiring registrants and permit holders to make specified disclosures when entering into specified contracts; altering the trust and escrow requirements for sellers of preneed contracts; establishing an advisory board and a Cemetery Oversight Fund; etc.
