Entitled:
Children and Families First Health Care Act of 1998

Synopsis:

Establishing the Children and Families Health Care Program under which specified individuals who meet specified family income standards would be eligible for specified health benefits through an employer sponsored health benefit plan or the Maryland Medical Assistance Program; altering the eligibility requirements for specified individuals under the Health Care Program; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to provide expedited eligibility to specified individuals under specified circumstances; etc.
