Income Tax Exemption Amounts - Blind or Elderly Individuals

Synopsis:

Increasing the amount allowed as a deduction for additional exemptions under the Maryland income tax for individuals who as of the last day of the taxable year are blind or are at least 65 years old, from $1,000 to $1,400 for tax year 1998, to $1,600 for tax year 1999, to $1,850 for tax year 2000, to $2,100 for tax year 2001, and to $2,400 for tax years after 2001.
