General Assembly - Legislative Redistricting

Synopsis:

Repealing the authority of the Governor to prepare and have introduced into the General Assembly a legislative redistricting plan for the General Assembly after every decennial census; authorizing members of the General Assembly to introduce a bill proposing a legislative redistricting plan following each census; requiring the General Assembly to adopt a redistricting plan by a specified date; and submitting the proposed amendment to the voters of the State for their adoption or rejection.
