Synopsis:

Expanding the cases in which interpreters are required to be appointed for court proceedings; requiring the Administrative Office of the Courts to adopt a specified policy concerning compensation for interpreter services; providing for specified reimbursement for compensation of a court appointed interpreter; and requiring an authorization in the State budget to the Judiciary Department to provide for specified interpreter services.
