Election Law - Voting Systems - Adequate Voter Verification Process

Synopsis:

Requiring that voting systems incorporate an adequate voter verification process that includes specified features; requiring that each voter's ballot choices, once cast, be preserved in a specified manner; requiring, in the event of a recount, that local boards of election use specified records; providing that specified ballots are official records; requiring the State Board of Elections to conduct a comparison of ballots in a random sampling of election districts; requiring the Governor to allocate specified resources; etc.
