Income Tax Relief for Surviving Spouse of Fallen Armed Forces Member

Synopsis:

Providing a credit against the Maryland income tax for the surviving spouse of a member of the armed forces who died as a result of or while serving in Afghanistan or Iraq under specified circumstances; limiting the credit to the lesser of the Maryland income tax for that taxable year or $500; prohibiting the unused amount of the credit from being carried over to any other taxable year; etc.
