Clean Indoor Air Act of 2005

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from smoking tobacco products in indoor areas open to the public and places of employment; creating the Clean Indoor Air Act; requiring the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation to adopt regulations to implement the provisions of the prohibition; requiring these departments to report to the General Assembly; establishing civil penalties and fines for the violation of the Act; etc.
