Criminal Law - Criminal Gang Offenses - Abatement of Criminal Gang Activity as a Nuisance

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from participating actively in a criminal gang with knowledge that the gang members engage in specified criminal activity; prohibiting a person from promoting, furthering, or assisting in specified criminal conduct by criminal gang members; providing an enhanced penalty for a conviction of causing malicious damage to property if the act was committed at the direction of a criminal gang; and changing a definition of nuisance to include the use of property in furtherance of specified criminal gang activity.
