Synopsis:

Requiring specified applicants for licensure or certification by the State Board of Nursing to submit to a criminal history records check as a condition of licensure or certification; requiring the applicants to submit fingerprints and specified fees to the Criminal Justice Information System Central Repository of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services; requiring the Board to begin a specified process of requiring criminal history records checks as a condition of license or certificate renewal; etc.
