Harford County - Permanent Nominating Commission - School Board Nominating Convention

Synopsis:

Requiring the Governor, with respect to making appointments to vacant positions on the Harford County Board of Education, to fill those appointments in a specified manner; prohibiting the Governor from circumventing the appointment process created by the Act; creating a Permanent Nominating Commission for the Harford County Board of Education; requiring the Permanent Nominating Commission to create, by charter, a School Board Nominating Convention to function whenever a vacancy occurs on the Harford County Board of Education; etc.
